Still Smelling the Roses

Be careful what you wish for is usually advised. I must admit that I had not understood to the full extent that popular warning until recently, when some of my long-yearned aspirations came true due to the pandemic provoked by COVID-19.

Nobody can deny at this moment the catastrophic effects it has laid on our lives and the pernicious consequences yet to be thoroughly elucidated in so wide a range of aspects of human activity. Be socialization, business or health, the last not a complementary feature but an essential element for the full existence of the former two.
